August 1, 1951–August 5, 2008Patricia Ann Andresen, 57, of Oxford Junction, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at her home following a sudden illness.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming, with the Rev. Margaret Debner officiating. Burial will be in the Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming, Iowa.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming. Memorials may be given to Oxford Junction Ambulance or Zion American Lutheran Church.
Patricia Ann Brunscheen was born on August 1, 1951 in Anamosa, Iowa, daughter of Kenneth and Lorrene (Christiansen) Brunscheen. She graduated from Midland High School in 1970. She married Gene Andresen on April 4, 1981 at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming, Iowa.
Pat worked for Polo Plastics in Monticello.
She was a member of the Zion American Lutheran Church and the Piecemakers Quilting Group. She enjoyed dancing, watching ball games, and gardening in her younger years.Pat is survived by her husband, Gene Andresen, of Oxford Junction; one daughter, Katie Andresen of North Liberty; her mother, Lorrene Brunscheen of Wyoming; her mother-in-law, Emily Andresen of Oxford Junction; one sister, Sharon (Bill) Gruber of Marion; two brothers, Gary (friend Mary Jo) Brunscheen and Alan (friend Sue) Brunscheen, both of Wyoming; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Brunscheen on January 28, 1999, and her father-in-law, Max Andresen.
