"RED" FABER'S WIFE DIES AT WAUKEGAN

Mrs. Irene Faber, 45, wife of Urban "Red" Faber, former Chicago White Sox pitcher, died Thursday in St. Therese hospital, Waukegan, Illinois, after a long illness. Faber, a native of Cascade, Iowa, and a star pitcher on the Columbia (Loras) College, Dubuque, Iowa, baseball team before entering the majors, operates a bowling alley at Grayslake, Illinois. Mrs. Ed Hogan, sister of "Red" Faber attended the funeral at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
