Major J. Olmstead, of Anamosa, and Mrs. Mary W. Scott, of this city, were married at the residence of the bride last evening, by the Rev. Dr. Bingham. The wedding was a quite one, and the bridal pair took the eastern train on a wedding trip. The Major is one of the substantial citizens of Anamosa, and the bride is worthy of him, a lady of many admirable qualities, whose circle of friends is large.
