Sad Accident

We learn from the Eureka of Anamosa, that a man, James McDonald, was drowned in the Wapsipinican River on January 30th, while attempting to cross that river in a skiff loaded with pork. McDonald was accompanied by another young man, but the current was so swift that the boat was carried over the dam and sank. The companion was able to swim ashore.
