Wyoming; born April 6, 1816, in Fayette Co., Ohio; in 1831, he came to Marion Co., Ind.; in 1838, to Jo Daviess Co., Ill.; in 1839, he came to Jones Co., Iowa; he owns 110 acres of land. Married Hester Ann Van June 3, 1839; she was born February 24, 1822, in Morgan Co., Ind.; have five children—William H., Azilda, Sylvester Fenton, Lyman L. and Alice. Republican; belongs to M.E. Church.
