Don "Radio Don" Sibley
Don Sibley, age 68, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

Don was born March 19, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Iva (Armstrong) Sibley. He graduated from Iowa City High School and attended the University of Iowa. Don
graduated from Brown Institute of Broadcasting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On September 21, 1967 he married Myrtle Belle Schieber in Lexington, Missouri. She survives at the home.

Don, known to his listeners as “Radio Don”, had worked for KYNT Radio in Yankton, South Dakota and KLEX Radio in Lexington, Missouri before coming to KMZU in Carrollton in
1974. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, Don is also survived by one son, Chris Sibley and wife, Tamara, Lexington, Missouri, four grandchildren, Mikayla, Erin, Jarrett and Brynlee, and several
nieces and nephews.

His parents, one sister, Mary Ann Lenoch, and one brother, William Sibley, preceded him in death.

There will be a visitation on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 7-8:30 p.m., at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in
Lexington, Missouri.
