AN OLD TIME IOWA CITY RESIDENT DEAD
William Burns died at a local hospital today after an operation for a chronic trouble which has been bothering him for many years. He is a brother of James Burns of Oxford and a cousin of John Burns of South Capital, Iowa City, and a first cousin of Thomas and Michael Shay, Mrs. Frank Gerlitz and Mrs. Clarence Dolittle of this city.

Mr. Burns was a man of fifty-nine and is survived by a wife and four children. The remains will be returned to Marshalltown.
