William (Bill) Oscar Djerf age 81, passed away at his home in Cape Coral, Florida on Thursday, June 20,2024.

Bill was born to Oscar and Mae (Hicks)Djerf on October 8,1942, in Hampton, Iowa. The family moved to Iowa City, Iowa where Bill attended elementary school and graduated from City High School. He graduated from Oklahoma State University where he pursued his career in Drafting and Design. He and his partner started Conveyer Engineering in 1977 in a small garage and expanded it into a multi million dollar business. Bill retired from the Company after 25 Years and moved to Cape Coral, Florida. Bill and his wife sold their home and moved to Gulf Coast Village Retirement Community where he volunteered his time in the Wood Shop which he loved until his death.

He is survived by his wife Margaret; their children, Lisa Breitbach (Dan), Kristine Djerf, Karl Djerf (Tina); grandchildren, Delany, Regis, and Addison Breitbach, Aiden, Nolan, and Jack Djerf and Sylvia and Oscar Djerf; stepdaughters, Deborah Guinn (Greg), Sheri Hall, Cynthia Fuhrmeister (Jerry); step grandchildren, Matt, and Brad Guinn, Brandi Miller, Jeni Laughlin, Jeff Fuhrmeister and Lynn Caviness; great-grandchildren, Xzavier, Maxxin, Maguire and Kaidian Guinn, Kendall, Amelia, Eli and Declan Guinn, Lindsey and Brady Laughlin, Abby Campbell, Emma and Aiden Fuhrmeister, Jesse and Hannah Caviness; sister, Gloria Heston; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ida and brother-in-law, Fred.
