Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Gertrude L.) Michael, 60, were held in Iowa City Dec. 8 with the Rev. Samuel Hahn officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. Mrs. Michael died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Dec. 6.

The daughter of Oliver and Ann Christopherson Bush, she was born in Iowa City Nov. 21, 1924. She was married to Fred A. Michael in Iowa City Oct. 12, 1943. They lived near West Branch.

Mrs. Michael is survived by her husband; 4 sons, James, Fenton, Mo.; Fred, Coralville and Jerry and Larry, both of West Branch; a daughter, Mrs. James (Helen) Breece, Coralville; 2 brothers, Earl Bush, Iowa City and Henry Bush, Oakland, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Arlene) Keefauver, Donesboro, Tenn. and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
