Robert “Bobby” Mahoney, 69, died peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2024.

A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at a later date.

Bobby was born February 14. 1955 in Iowa City, the son of Kenneth L. and Mary M. (Kral) Mahoney.

He was an auto mechanic for many years.

Bobby is survived by his siblings, Kenneth J. Mahoney of Lone Tree and Bonnie Mahoney of Iowa City; brother-in-law, Chris Steckman of Hills; nieces and nephews, Michael Casey, Kelly Casey, Heather Irwin, Mary Hicks, and Jason Hicks.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, JoAnn Casey and Holly Steckman.
