Funeral services for Mrs. Timothy (Alice M.) Ryan, 83, mother of Mrs. Reno Droll, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, Iowa City May 4 with the Rev. Henry Greiner officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Riverside.

Mrs. Ryan died at her home in Iowa City May 2.

The daughter of William and Susan Ferguson Dody, she was born in Missouri Valley July 14, 1900. She was married to Timothy A. Ryan in Missouri Valley March 30, 1921. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and had been a volunteer at the Iowa City Senior center.

She is survived by her husband, 3 sons, John Patrick, Dayton, Ohio; Timothy J., Omaha, Nebr., and Michael D., Iowa City and a daughter, Mrs. Reno (Jeanne) Droll, Tipton; 31 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and 7 brothers and sisters.
