Jean is survived by her children Jeri Conklin of Sigourney, IA, Christine Matthess of Iowa City, IA, John (Judy) Schwab of Cedar Rapids, IA, Connie (Daryl) of Iowa City, IA, Jan (Bruce) Johnson of Williamsburg, IA, Cammy (Wade) Spencer of Fort Worth, TX, and Judy Yeggy (Sam Lensing) of Solon, IA, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Kathleen Bolander, three sisters Suzanne Neuzil, Mary Ann Eaton and Edna Slade, one brother Robert Brown, son-in-law Fred Yeggy, and two grandsons Mark Matthess and Tony Rogers.

Honoring Jean’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held in the spring.
