Michael Scott Sellz, 71, died Thursday, September 7, 2023, at home.

Graveside Services were held Friday, September 8, 2023, at Agudas Achim Cemetery.

Michael was born December 29, 1951, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Norman and Eileen (Gotsdiner) Sellz. Michael was raised in Omaha.

Michael was married to Susan Rogusky. On November 22, 2003, Michael married Rachel Joselson in Las Vegas.

He attended Washington University, Palmer Chiropractic College, and received his BSN from Mount Mercy University.

Michael was a registered nurse at the VA Medical Center. Michael devoted his career to healing and caregiving. He was a member of Agudas Achim Congregation.

Michael is survived by his wife, Rachel; children: Manny and Leah, Shanti, Anikka, and Sam; mother, Eileen Jacobson; brothers, Greg (Karen) Engel and Rand Engel; sister-in-law, Marsha Engel; and other extended beloved family members.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry, and first wife, Susan.
