Robert Lee “Bob” Marron, 67, longtime resident of Winter Springs, Florida passed away on July 2, 2023 after a long battle with Dementia.

Born in Waterloo, Iowa on July 5, 1955, Bob was the second son of Alfred Joseph Marron, Jr. and Jane Helen (Armstrong) Marron. He and his family lived in various cities and states while growing up. Bob graduated from high school in Wichita, Kansas before earning his BA from Wichita State University in Hospital Administration. He earned his MBA in 2004 while working at Lockheed Martin.

He spent his career in management for Lockheed Martin before his health forced him to retire. Bob’s brother Joe and Joe’s wife, Darlene moved him to Iowa City to be close to him, and cared for him as his health declined up until his last day.

He is survived by his father Alfred Marron of Fairfield Bay, AR; brother Alfred “Joe” Marron (Darlene Clausen) of Iowa City, IA; siblings Pam (Khris) McAlister of Birmingham, AL, and Gary (Marsha) Marron of Omaha, NE; two step sons Sean Muller and Nick Muller (Aimee) both of Winter Park, FL; his former spouse Mary Jo Klausing of Winter Springs, FL; and many extended family.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother Jane Marron and step-mother Shirley Marron.

Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dementia Society of America (https://www.dementiasociety.org/memorials).
