Funeral services for Russell M. Wolfe, 67, 33 Highland Dr., Iowa City, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (today) April 28 at the George L. Gay funeral home, Iowa City. Burial will be in Ridgewood cemetery, North Liberty.

Mr. Wolfe died April 25 at University hospitals following a brief illness. He was a retired farmer and, from 1965 to 1970, farmed in the Lowden area. He was active in the Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche; a son-in-law and daughter, Donald and Janet Muhs, Iowa City; 2 grandchildren, a brother, Harold of Highland Park, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. H. Wade (Merle) Von Stein, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by an infant son and one brother.
