Fannie Faulkner Stevenson was born in Hollandale Mississippi, to her loving parents Geneva and Willie Johnson (preceded her in death).

Fannie earned her high school diploma from Hyde Park High School, Chicago, IL. She attended Daley College acquiring her Associate of Arts degree.

Fannie accepted Christ at an early age and continued her fellowship at LifePointe Christian Faith Center under the leadership of Pastor Tommy Roberts.

Fannie worked various clerical positions and moved on to work at Midway Airport in a management position. Fannie chose to discover a new life and moved to Coralville, Iowa. She made Coralville her home. Fannie would give of her time by working with children in the school system being a grandmother and mentor. Fannie enjoyed family time and gatherings. She enjoyed life and knew how to make everyone feel special and loved.

Fannie was the youngest of four daughters: Lillie Mae Keys, Willie Mae Mitchell and Nellie Bea Gray who all preceded her in death. She married the love of her life Larry Stevenson, who also preceded her in death. She leaves to celebrate her life, her one and only son James Antoine Faulkner. Two granddaughters Kailynn Faulkner of North Liberty, IA, Imani Faulkner of Des Moines IA, and one grandson, Jayden Faulkner of Cedar Rapids, IA. She leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
