Laurie Lynne Baumgartner, 52, of Solon Iowa, passed away on January 4, 2023.

Laurie was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on August 3, 1970 to Milton and Susan (Ellis) Exline.

After graduating from City High School, she attended Kirkwood Community College. On September 28, 1996 Laurie married and to this union two sons were born. However, the couple later divorced.

Laurie worked at the University of Iowa Credit Union (Currently named GreenState) for several years before taking a leave of absence. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Legion Hall, reading, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Laurie is survived by her children: Michael and Andrew Baumgartner; parents: Susan and Milton Exline; brothers: Brad Exline, David Exline (Kelly) niece and nephew Andrea and Jake Exline as well as other extended family members and friends.

Per Laurie’s wishes, cremation has been accorded and a private visitation with family and close friends will be held on January 29, 2023. Memorials may be made to Solon First Responders.
