DIED.

In this city, on the 27th ult., Mrs. TIRZAH, consort of Dr. N. G. SALES, in the 28th year of her age.

The deceased, with whom we have been acquainted for the last eight years, was a woman possessing in a high degree, that gentleness, meekness, and intelligence which so well adorn and beautify the female character. Her last sickness was of about two weeks’ duration, and when the grim messenger came, he found in the breast of her at whom his dart was aimed, an unfaltering trust and confidence in HIM who has deprived Death of his sting. She left behind her an infant son and daughter – the youngest but a few weeks old – as momentoes[sic] to a husband by whom she was tenderly beloved.
