Funeral services for Perry Hoskinson, 85, Coralville, father of Russell Hoskinson, were held at the George L. Gay funeral home in Iowa City Jan. 30 with burial in Memory Gardens cemetery.

Mr. Hoskinson died at Cedar Manor Jan. 27, following a lengthy illness.

The son of Henry and Lucetta Knicley Hoskinson, he was born in West York, Pa., Sept. 10, 1888 and was married to Hattie Madden at Iowa City Nov. 3, 1914. He farmed in Johnson county until retiring and moving to Coralville in 1946.

He is survived by 2 sons, Russell, Tipton and Lloyd, Iowa City and 5 daughters, Mrs. Thora Shay, Mason City; Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Kadlec, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Edward (Naomi) Fairchild, Coralville; Mrs. Dean (Dorothy) Bowman, Iowa City; Mrs. Frank (Opal) Dahney, Waterloo; 2 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Archie, Grand Junction.
