Funeral services for Claude Wood, 76, Iowa City, were held Feb. 6. He died at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, Feb. 2.

Born in Paris, Mo. he married Mabel Conklin in 1937. He was active in square dance circles in this area.

Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. Clifford Chase, Burlington; a half brother, LaRay, Elgin, Ill.; a half sister, Mrs. Leroy Russell, California; a stepmother, Mrs. Pearl Woods, Elgin, 3 stepsisters, Mrs. Brace West, West Branch; Mrs. Larry McGowan and Mrs. warren Ainsworth, both of Elgin.
