Carl Otto Lund, 85, of Iowa City died peacefully August 27, 2022, at Lantern Park Care Center in Coralville.

There will be a private family burial at Memory Gardens with no other services planned at this time.

Carl Otto Lund was born on September 28,1936, in Curlew, IA to Ardell (Christianson) and Otto Lund. He lived in Iowa City for 76 years. Carl graduated high school in Iowa City and worked as a dishwasher for the University of Iowa Athletic Club.

Carl is survived by his siblings: Karin Jagnow of North Liberty, IA, Nathan Lund of Bend, OR, Paul (Cynthia) Lund of Berea, OH, and Marta Newlon of Red Wing, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Lund.
