Lawrence (Larry) M. Henning, 66, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 following a lengthy illness. A private burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Davenport.

Larry was born on November 13, 1956, in Davenport, Iowa. He was the son of Alfred Charles and Dorothy Nolan Henning. Larry was a graduate of Bettendorf High School.

Larry spent most of his adult life in the Iowa City area. He was employed as a customer service representative at Green State Credit Union for over 20 years where he enjoyed the companionship of his colleagues. In his free time Larry enjoyed spending time with friends, listening to music, golfing, and cheering on both the Hawkeyes and the Cubs.

Survivors include his brother David (Lori) Henning; his step-brother Craig (Liz) Breese; his sister-in-law Audrey Henning; his nieces Halie and Megan Henning; and nephew Kayvon Jafarpour.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Encel, and his brothers, Thomas and Stephen.
