Requiem high mass for Mrs. Edward L. (Florence) O'Connor, 76, mother of Mrs. Wayne Miller, was March 25 at St. Mary's church, Iowa City, with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mrs. O'Connor died at Cedar Manor March 24, following a long illness.

Mrs. O'Connor was born in Iowa City Jan.8, 1894, daughter of Martin and Frances Fitzsimmons Freeman. She was 1912 graduate of St. Mary's high school and received a BA degree from the University of Iowa in 1917. She was married to Edward L. O'Connor Nov. 7, 1917, at St. Mary's church.

She had been a resident of Iowa City until moving to Tipton 3 years ago.

In Iowa City she was a member of St. Mary's church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary's.

Surviving are her husband, Tipton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Kathleen) Miller, Tipton, and Mrs. Kenney (Marian) Makoutz, Lorton, Va.; 2 sons, Edward F., New Hampton, and Martin J., Milwaukee, Wis., and 21 grandchildren. One son, 4 brothers and a sister died earlier.
