MARY A. STROHM PASSES AWAY
WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF THIS CITY DIED AT HOME EARLY THIS MORNING
Mrs. Mary O.[sic] Strohm died at her home at 321 east College street this morning. She was eighty-four years, ten months and nineteen days old. For many years she had been a resident of the city and had an unusually wide acquaintance. She was the wife of the late Henry Strohm, who had a statewide reputation as a nurseryman for many years and who conducted his nursery on Summit street, now occupied by a number of beautiful residences. Mrs. Strohm had been a resident of the city since 1857.
Mrs. Strohm is survived by the following children: Mrs. Carrie E. Lewis, Rupert, Idaho; B. F. Strohm, St. Paul, Minnesota; H. S. Strohm, Waterville, Kansas; C. B. Strohm; Chicago, Ill. All the children were at home and at the bedside of their mother when the death occurred.
The funeral service in connection with the burial will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock from the late residence, and the services will be conducted by Rev. R. F. Hurlburt, pastor of the Methodist church. The interment will be in Oakland cemetery.
