Cheryl E. White, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Sunrise Terrace in Winfield.

No services are planned. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City is handling arrangements for Cheryl.

Born November 3, 1944 in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Carolyn (Kinnersley) King, she grew up in Atlantic, with her family moving to Iowa City in 1955.

She met and later married Billy Ray White on May 23, 1987 at Danforth Chapel in Iowa City. Billy Ray passed away in 2002.
Cheryl worked at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in housekeeping for many years, as well as volunteering at the Coralville Library.
Survivors include a sister in law, Loretta White and a niece, Stephanie Newton, both of Winfield and great nieces & nephews, Austin, Treyben, Talon and Avinn.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Richard White.
