Lillian “Lollie” Williams, age 63 of Iowa City died Friday, December 3, 2021, at Hospice of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa.

Lollie was born December 18, 1957, in Alton, Illinois the daughter of William and Flora Washpun. Following high school she spent most of other working career as a secretary. Many of her family members came to the Iowa City area where she joined them and raised her daughters. She was a very giving, unselfish soul who enjoyed shopping, the casinos, helping anyone in need, family, friends or a total stranger, but near and dear to her heart was her family.

Her family incluces her two daughters, Taylor Williams and Lashere Williams; siblings, Lilly Perry, Eula Davis, Earl Washpun, and Troy Washpun and all of their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Linda Jackson, Narantive Seatles, and Willa Mae Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Church of the Nazarene in Iowa City with burial to follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.
