Ann M. Frank, age 46 of Davenport died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City following a lengthy illness.

An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at 1pm Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Abbey Hotel. Following this at 2 pm there will be services with military honors held at the Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ann’s memory. Ann Marie Frank was born February 8, 1959 in Hartford, WI, the daughter of Robert J. and Rita Ann (Nicholson) Frank. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1977. The following December she enlisted in the United States Army where she served her country until 1982. She moved to Davenport in 1983, where she enjoyed the outdoors, her garden, fishing, listening to music, and her dogs.

Her family includes her life partner, Susan Hamann; parents, Robert and Rita Frank of Manitowoc, WI, brother, Joel Frank of Milwaukee, WI, sisters, Teresa Kannel and her husband, John of Eau Claire, WI, Roberta Dautermann and her husband, Bruce of Kenosha, WI, Patricia Frank of Hartford, WI, and Kathleen Frank of Auckland, New Zealand; six nieces and nephews, one great-nephew, her trusted companion, Emily; and a host of other family and dear friends.
