Barbara A. Mawdsley, age 64, passed away July 31, 2021.

Barbara was born July 16, 1957 in Humboldt, Iowa, the daughter of Duwayne and MaryLou Earhardt. Barbara had a strong personality which served her well during her career as a CNA. She liked to take care of people - whether that was her children and grandchildren, her patients, or the customers she served when she owned her quilt shop. Barbara loved to quilt and enjoyed sharing her knowledge and expertise with those around her. She had a strong faith which served as her compass through life. Barbara will be missed, but her memory will be carried by all who knew her.

Surviving Barbara are her cherished children, Joshua (Amber) Davidson and Belinda (Bryan) Lemkau; grandchildren, Grayson Davidson, Nevaeh Lemkau and Elijah Lemkau; and siblings, Cathy (Bob), Mike, Joyce and John. Sadly, Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Duwayne and MaryLou.

A simple cremation has been arranged for Barbara in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be scheduled for a later date.
