Jerry Lee Skriver died unexpectedly at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in the early morning of Friday May 21st, 2021 in Iowa City. at the age of 63. He was a resident of Iowa City at the time of his passing.

Jerry was born on August 22, 1957 in Iowa City to Howard and Marjorie Skriver. He was a dedicated high school athlete and worked tirelessly on the family farm. Jerry also worked for many years at the family business: “The Budget Shop” consignment store. Jerry above all, loved animals and raised cattle for most of his life. He especially had a soft spot for cats and kittens. He enjoyed dirt biking, weightlifting, video games, and racing remote-controlled cars. Jerry lived most of his life on the family farm and enjoyed the outdoors.

Jerry is survived by his mother Marjorie Skriver of Hills. Siblings; Eugene Skriver (Anita) of Riverside. Randy Skriver, West Branch. Uncle, Bruce Gardner (Paula Griffin) of West Branch. Nieces, Lisa Skriver of Iowa City, Sylvia Skriver of West Branch, and Nephew, Ryan Skriver (Tanya) of Bettendorf. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Skriver of Iowa City.

No funeral is scheduled at this time.
