Ruth Marchman, 64, of 507 3rd Street, Kalona, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Gay & Ciha Funeral Home, Iowa City. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona, Iowa. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Ruth’s name. Ruth was born July 25, 1940 in Clovis, New Mexico to Frank and Emily (Rierson) Marchman. Ruth was a resident at REM of Iowa, Kalona and had worked at WCRC in Washington, Iowa.

Ruth’s family includes her mother Emily Marchman of Iowa City, a sister Georgia Marchman Buckner and husband, Carl of Murphysboro, Tennessee, two brothers, James Marchman and wife, Gloria of Iowa City and Herbert Marchman and wife, Karen of Colorado Springs, Colorado and nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
