Tuesday, September 3, 1918DEATH CLAIMS YOUNG MOTHER
Mrs. Ledger (Mayme) Westfall passed away last evening at her home in Liberty township, after a brief illness.
Her husband and a daughter, Mary, who came to the erstwhile happy home only three days ago, survive.
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nolan, of Iowa City also survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, from St. Patrick's church at 10 o'clock. The cortege will leave the house at 8:30.
The interrment will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Mrs. Westfall was a woman of admirable attributes, and her untimely death will make heavy many hearts in Liberty township and elsewhere in Johnson County, where she was known and loved.
