Funeral services for Mrs. Lester Bahmler, 72, mother of Don Bahmler, were held Dec. 4 at Solon and St. Bridget's church near Morse. Mrs. Bahmler, who lived near Iowa City died at her home Dec. 2.

The former Florence Rinda was born in 1893 near North Liberty. She married Mr. Bahlmer in 1915.

Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. Earl Whitney, Silvis, Ill.; 2 sons, Richard, Kansas City, and Donald, Tipton; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Clara Anderson, Mrs. Elisha Harms and Mrs. George Parizek, all of Iowa City, and a brother, Edward of Florida.
