Jeffrey N. Appelbaum, 67, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at UIHC.

A private family cremation service has been held with burial later at the Ryumonji Monastery.

Memorials may be directed to the Ryumonji Zen Monastery, 2452 Ryumon Road, Dorchester, Iowa 52140.

Survivors include Jefrey's spouse, Page Ringstrom Appelbaum; his sister, Lee (Gary) Zechman; and his brother, David Appelbaum.
