Funeral services for Joseph F. Moravek, 55, Solon, were held Feb. 23 at St. Peter and Paul church near Solon, with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Moravek died Feb. 20 after a long illness.

Born near Solon March 18, 1909, he farmed in the Solon vicinity all of his life.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. George L. Dvorsky, Central City, and Mrs. John Kessler, West Branch, and 2 brothers, George, Tipton, and Milo, Solon.
