Otto Koss, 54, died suddenly at his home near Solon Monday afternoon.

Services will be at the Solon Methodist church at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday), with the Rev. Weldon Crowley officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland cemetery near Solon.

Mr. Koss was born April 18, 1910 near Solon, the son of Joseph and Tillie Koss. He was married to Gladys Louvar Sept. 27, 1937. The couple farmed in the Solon area.

Surviving are his widow; 4 daughters: Mrs. Lyle Cooling and Mrs. Dallas Cooling, both of Solon, Mrs. John Fawcett, West Branch and Delores Koss, Iowa City; 3 sisters, Mrs. Joe Sovers, Solon, Mrs. Frank Shimek, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Fred Greazel, Iowa City; 2 brothers, Edward and Henry, both of Solon; and 4 grandchildren.
