Antoinette (Toni) Rasmussen Krieger went to be at home with family, friends, and our Lord on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Due to the pandemic a family committal service is planned. Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.

Toni was born on February 27, 1940 in Exira, Iowa, to Chester Cole and Clara Kathryn Rasmussen. On August 19, 1961 Toni married John Krieger in Iowa City, Iowa.

Toni is survived by her husband, John, two daughters, Beth Blandford (Greg) of Allen, Texas, Jane Meyer (Bob) of Dubuque, Iowa, four grandchildren, Isaac and Mattie Blandford and Katie and Ben Meyer, eight siblings, Pat Rice of West Des Moines, IA , Marty Kafer of Concord, CA, Charlie (Jo) Rasmussen of Oro Valley, AZ, Katie Graff of The Woodlands, TX, Gary (Carol Lea) Rasmussen of Exira, IA, Frank (Dorothy) Rasmussen of Tempe, AZ, Mike (Kay) Rasmussen of Exira, IA, and Sheila (Roger) Richards of Dallas, TX, and two sisters-in-law, Sally Rasmussen of Asbury, IA and Judy Rasmussen of Urbandale, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Leo, Dick, and John Rasmussen, a sister-in-law, Patricia Rasmussen, and three brothers-in-law, Keith Kafer, Larry Graff, and Austin Rice.

Toni's life was a living example of the bible verse, Ephesians 4:32- "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."
