Note: His mother's maiden name was Snyder. He was born in 1864.

West Branch -- Elmer Strubble (Struble), lifelong resident of this community and well know farmer, died at a hospital in Cedar Falls Tuesday evening, after a long illness.

He was taken to that city a few weeks ago to be near his daughter who teaches there.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Struble, pioneer residents of Johnson county, and was married to Miss Ruthetta Armstrong, who with two daughters, Mrs. Fay Hartsock of Fort Dodge, and Miss Marguerite Struble, survive.
