Joyce Dixon, 92, died Friday, June 19, 2020 at Mercy Iowa City.
Family Committal Service will be held this week at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Joyce was born May 22, 1928 in Iowa City, the daughter of Paul and Laura Englert Schmidt. She was a graduate of University High School.
For many years Joyce was employed at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Survivors include four children, Jeff Dixon of Redfield, Iowa, Mark (Amy) Dixon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gary Dixon of San Diego, and Debbie Williams of Iowa City; six grandchildren, Mark Jr., Daniel, Julia, Jonathan, Brandon, and Allie; great grandchildren, Easton, Brantley, Drew, Max, and Charlie.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald, and her son-in-law, Al.
