EARNEST AMELON DIED THIS MORNING
Ernest Amelon died of influenza at 2 o’clock this morning at his home in Washington Township, twelve miles southwest of Iowa City.

Ernest was only twenty years old and leaves his step-father and his mother, Mr. & Mrs. William Brogle, besides three sisters, Mable, Pearl and Alma, and two brothers, Wilford and Harold.

A private funeral will be held Tuesday with interment at Cosgrove. To the parents, brothers and sisters, the community extends their heartfelt sympathy.
