MRS. EMMA RUTAN DIES IN SEATTLE WASH
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Emma Hart Rutan, widow of the late J. C. Rutan, formerly of Iowa City, on Dec 22, 1918. The deceased was seventy five years old and leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Kelly and a son Morton Leigh Rutan, and a grandson Wallace H. Rutan. Hart Spencer of Iowa City is a nephew and Mrs. John Bothell also of this city is a niece of the stricken woman. Burial will be made at North Yakima, Wash, the deceased’s late home.
