MRS. JOHN REILAND DIES IN MINNESOTA
Mrs. John Reiland died December 12, at half past three o’clock, in the afternoon at her home in Lewisville, Minnesota, after an illness of twelve days. Influenza, followed by pneumonia, was the cause of her death. Mrs. Reiland was formerly Miss Bessie Vanek of Iowa City where she spent her girlhood days, and where many friends sympathize with the bereaved family.She leaves a husband, John Reiland, and a six year old son, Harold. She also leaves three brothers, Joseph J. Vanek and James Vanek of Iowa City, and William in the service in New York City; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dobrey, of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Joseph Cerny, of Iowa City.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Schneider Brothers’ undertaking parlors. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
