FRED H SCHNARE IS DEAD AT SEA
Henry W. Schnare today received word from the war department that his son Fred H Schnare had died at sea while enroute for Europe.Fred was a young man of twenty six years and was called to the colors July 26, going from here to Camp Pike. He is believed to have been a victim of influenza and pneumonia.
Deceased will be mourned by his father and mother, one sister and one brother besides a host of friends and more distant relatives. A grateful community will sympathize with the bereaved relatives in their sad hour.The body will be returned here for burial. The body will be taken to Schneider Brothers undertaking parlors and the funeral will be held from that place. Burial at Oakland cemetery.
