CLOYDE E. ADAMS DIES OF PNEUMONIA
Corporal Cloyde E. Adams, died about noon yesterday at the hospital. Pneumonia following an attack of influenza was the cause of his death.
He was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Ira O. Adams, formerly of Wellman, now of 220 south Linn street. He leaves his parents, two brothers, Maynard L. and Malcolm C., and a sister, Mae.

Corporal Adams graduated from the Iowa City High school in 1918, and became a freshman engineer at the college of Applied Science S.U. I., when he entered the S.A. T. C. the present month. With an honorable record at the High school and the same fine characteristics recognized in his work in the S.A.T.C., he was promoted to a corporalship in a few days. A noble Christian young man, and a loyal member of the Methodist church has been taken from the community and many hearts are grieved.
