CLARK RITES ON THURSDAY
Funeral Will be Held From Home at Oasis
Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Clark, 85, who passed away Tuesday morning at her home at Oasis after a lingering illness, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home, with burial in the Oasis cemetery.
Catherine Filbey was born December 14, 1847, in Indiana. She was married to Evan Adair on November 11, 1866, in Ohio, to which union five children were born. Mr. Adair passed away March 28, 1877, from injuries suffered in the Civil war. Later she married Mr. Jasper Clark, of Oasis, to which union two children were born.
Surviving her are her husband, two children, Joseph Adair of Iowa City and Mrs. Jake Eichhorn of Pipestone, Minn., 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Five children preceded her in death.
