Nancy Lou Smith, age 80, of Iowa City, died Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the Solon Care Center.

Nancy Lou was born August 9, 1939, in Iowa City the daughter of John and Annie (Dewey) Smith. She has resided at the Solon Care Center for a number of years and prior to this at Chatham Oaks in Iowa City. Nancy’s family would like to thank the staffs of both the Solon Care Center and Chatham Oaks for the wonderful care of their sister over the years!

Her family includes her brother, Dan Smith; sisters, Linda Dolezal and Jackie Diehl (Stan) and sister-in-law, Marilyn Smith. Nancy Lou was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Virginia Ann Smith; brother, Richard Smith; sister-in-law, Esther Smith, and brother-in-law, Jim Dolezal.
