E. G. KUBICEK DIES AT HOTEL
Funeral Services Will Be Held Saturday Morning
Ezekial G. Kubicek, 64, long time resident of Coralville died at his home in the Washington Hotel at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Kubicek was born in Ohio on February 9, 1883, the son of John and Josephine Kubicek. He came to Coralville with his parents as a small child and lived most of his life as a farmer in that community.
In 1906 he was married to Emma Soukup.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Nelson of Moline; one sister, Mrs. Stella McLeland of Coralville; his mother of Coralville and five grandchildren. One daughter died at the age of 9.
Funeral services will be held at the Oathout Funeral Chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. with Dr. L. L. Dunnington officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
