Charles Netolikcy, 74, retired farmer from the Swisher and West Branch areas, died Sept. 20 after suffering a heart attack at his home in Iowa City.

Mr. Netolicky was born at Solon March 14, 1886, the son of Joseph and Mary Verva Netolicky.

Jan. 6, 1909, he married Emma Chehak in Swisher, and they farmed there and near West Branch until moving to Iowa City in 1952. Mrs. Netolicky died in 1955. A son, Emil, also preceded Mr. Netolicky in death.

Survivors include three sons, Charles, Davenport, Leo, Iowa City, and Lumar, Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Reha, Ainsworth, and Mrs. Caroll Wilson, Jonesboro, Ill.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Anton, Cedar Rapids, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Sept. 22 at Iowa City with the Rev. P. H. Pollock, of First Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial was in the Sulek cemetery at Shueyville.
