Kean J. Elixson, passed away June 19, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City at the age of 54.

He was born in Covina, CA and spent most of his life in West Covina, CA. He loved surfing, fishing, gardening, cooking outdoors, family gatherings and making people laugh and be happy. He moved to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Unfortunately he was in an automobile accident on May 12, 2013 which left him a quad paraplegic. He would always say God wanted him to live longer, nothing brought him down, he loved life to the fullest. Kean became very ill in the past several months, family members were all at his bedside during this time at the hospital.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who include his son, Jordan, his little girl, Sydney; two step-sons, Ethan and Noah; brother, Carey Elixson (Geraldine) of Las Vegas, NV and sisters, Deborah Wirth (Ray) of West Covina, CA and Michelle Sandoval of Williams, AZ; and many nieces, nephews and friends from all over. His parents, Delores and R.J. Elixson preceded him in death.
