Roy H. Miller

KALONA - Roy H. Miller, 69, of Kalona, died at University Hospital Wednesday night after a short illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Peterseim Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Smeltzer, pastor of the Kalona Mennonite Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Sharon Hill Cemetery at Kalona.
He was born in Johnson County on Feb. 6, 1901, son of Seth and Mary Miller. He married Myrtle Kepler on Feb. 16, 1929, at Victor. A retired mechanic he had resided in Kalona all his life.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Gardinier of Waterloo and Mrs. Francis Hofer of Arvada, Colo. and nephews and nieces. Preceding in death were his wife and two brothers.
