Solon, Ia. March 29--The funeral of the late Jacob Kreischer was held Monday from the M.E. church at Solon, and was conducted by Rev. Ray Busenbark, the pastor. This highly respected pioneer farmer of Big Grove township passed away Friday night after a long illness. His death came unexpectedly, however, and was a shock to his many friends. He was born on the old Kreischer homestead now occupied by Ed Kreischer, about 60 years ago. His parents were among the very earliest settlers of the county. Mr. Kreischer leaves a wife and one son, Lewis, besides his friends in number legion, to mourn his death.
